I'll post some pics later today, but has anyone figured out how to load the profile for this lens into Lightroom 5?

Here is a sample of what this lens is doing for me. Hand held with minimal pp.

Why isn't there more excitement in PentaxLandia over this lens.?

Hi all,

Firstly, I've seen some very good pics in this club.
I've got the K3 (with the kit lens) plus the HD DA 70mm Limited for a month now and I really like the camera (it is my first Pentax after some Sony DSLRs).
Tomorrow I'll place the order for the 20-40 Limited. I was skeptical at first whether should I buy the zoom Limited or the 21mm and 40mm Limited (both HD version) mostly because of the so-so reviews. But after seeing what you all have delivered with this lens...I think the doubt is gone and can hardly wait to receive it.
Will post some pics too soon after I get it.

Thanks,
Mircea

Nice work.

The users voices, associated excitement, etc. get drowned out by the review reading critics. It is all good though, the lens, in my opinion, is a superstar (a very humble one at that).

I am very happy about my purchase of this lens, no regrets. I thinks it's Pentax's hidden gem. It's going to be one of those highly sought after lenses in the years to come in my opinion.

Nice 3d imaging. Were you in a blind? I can't imagine a bird like that being so bold as to land right beside you.

no, it landed quit close to me. The pole is the godwit favorite stop, so if your stand still and keep at least 1-2 meters distance it will land. Using the dfa100 or *300mm is a piece of cake with these birds, but the ltd was a quick challenge.

Here are a couple consistent with the marine theme Crooski started above (nice) and the 20-40.

I took these last week in Western WA.
