Very nice

I enjoy this lens a lot!

So dcpropilot - if I take a hop from BTV to visit my bro in northern VA are you going to be at the controls?

I do fly (flight instructor/commercial pilot), but at BTV, my role is airport operations. Always good to have the K-3 with me, super photo opportunities!

Well...it's a done deal. Just placed the B&H order.

HD 20-40 it is.

Also got the 50 1.8 and HD 55-300.

Congratulations on the purchase.
Be sure to test it within the return period.
If it's a good copy of the lens,
we'll look forward to seeing what you do with it here.

Thank you I definitely test it and look foward to sharing what I do with it. Just an FYI to everyone I did find on one of Ricoh's websites last night under the specifications it now says 20mm-2.8;4.0 and 40mm-4.0;5.6. I can't find it now or I would share the link.

They would probably be referring to the notorious "35mm equivalence",
meaning that in terms of depth of field,
f/2.8 on APS-C is "equivalent" to f/4 on 35mm full frame,
or f/4 "equivalent" to f/5.6.

Previously, they have given "equivalent" focal lengths (30.5 - 61.5 mm).

You can search under "equivalence" on this website
for endless discussions of the topic,
but you'll do far better getting to know and use your new equipment!
