Thank you!

Gotta hand it to Pentax Limited Glass here. I don't push the sliders that much in post. I normally push the white slider up, black slider down, and play with exposure and shadows, and finally +1 to +5 in color vibrance.

The photo with my wife and baby, I did adjust the hue of green because it had a little bit of a distracting yellow tone.

Went hiking with the K3 and 20-40 today, it's a great combination for outings.

Now if they would get me a Limited 10-20 and a Limited 40-105...

I have a BF dilemma. to buy or not to buy this 20-40mm zoom.
The pros: I want it ,
The cons: high-priced lens, not very good reviews, I have the 35mm limited lens, I have the 18-50mm smaller and lighter zoom, lately I have rarely used my limited lenses (I know it's shameful ), lately the most used lens was the 18-135mm zoom. Please more pros, cons only very well reasoned

It's a great lens and I love mine. It doesn't have good reviews from reviewers who mostly care about shooting brick walls and test charts and other forms of measurebating. It has glowing and loving reviews from photographers who care about how a lens renders, how it makes an image feel and look, and about the lens' build quality. Like the rest of the limited family, this lens has pixie dust in spades. The DC autofocus is smooth, quick enough for most shooting, and accurate. The all-metal build quality gets positive comments from other photographers and lay people alike.

It's not cheap at $800 new, but it is cheaper than buying the 21 limited, the 40 limited, and the DA35, is in the same ball park for lens speed, and adds weather sealing and silent autofocus.

I bought mine because after trying to shoot a family members wedding with the 21 and 40 limited I was quickly over needing to swap lenses to get portraits (best with the 40)and then take a photo of the whole table (with the 21). I've shot two weddings since and the 20-40 was just what I needed. In the end it's become by go-to walk around lens and replaced 3 other lenses in my bag.
