The shot with the moggy is a 16:10 crop to 4600x7360 (33.9mp), there was small
strong vignetting in the top and bottom left corner (none on the right as it was cropped out due to the 16:10 crop), I tackled the vignette as best I could and then cloned the very tiny dark corners out (so the corners on the left side of the image are the actual corners of the original shot, instead of cropping more I cloned to ease the intensity). Focal length for this was 23mm to start with, f2.8 (once you get to 24mm it's a f3.5 minimum aperture).
The bell shot is 31mm and a 7360x4912 (36.2mp) i.e. not cropped at all. The vignette was tackled with only adjusting the Lens Correction Vignetting Amount slider, to max 100 (as seen attached). I prefer not to use the Profile as it also corrects distortion and at times I find that takes away a lot of the charm from the shots, it depends. On landscape it can be helpful, but on something like this shot I'd rather not.
I have used this lens a lot on the K-1, I think it does exceptionally well, even better than when on the KP. 20-22mm and 38-40mm is the worst offender for vignette, but I hope this small album here will showcase that in many instances it is not an issue and even welcome at times.
23mm is as wide as I can go and typically for landscape work at this length you will need to drop down to around 28-30mp (thus losing quite a lot of FoV, perhaps ending up around 26-28mm) if harsh vignetting in the corners is something that is not wanted. It really just depends on the kind of shots you want, city architectural shots where you want absolutely no vignetting then this lens is not for you.
