Pixelshifted image. Processed in SilkyPix DS Pro 7, and then in DxO viewpoint to correct distortion. Originally posted in this thread.

Great use of Pixel Shift.

Great mood, it has a sense of transportation through time.

35mm, F8, 20s exposure and pixelshift. Processed in SilkyPix DS Pro 7 and the final touches were done in DxOPro 10 (geometry, distortion, contrast).

First of all, I was not quite able to position the camera, so that the map on the wall would be parallel to the camera's sensor. Another problem was "flattening" the map. I was not quite able to get rid of all the distortion introduced by the lens. It was shot in a room with windows on the left side of the camera and behind the camera, so I ended up with a shadow from a camera in the middle of the map.

For the sake of comparison here is a shot made with DA* 60-250 (processed in the same way) :

Because the shot was done at 250mm, the working distance was longer and the shadow cast by camera was far less noticeable.

Mounted on Pentax K-3 II @ 35mm F1.8

Shot in the park surrounding Pažaislis monastery and church in Kaunas, Lithuania. If you view image in full size, you will notice that the focus is a tiny bit off. The lens chose to focus on hands, instead of the face. Quite a typical behaviour of this lens at wide apertures.

Mounted on Pentax K-3 II. F8 1/100.

This photo was taken in Lithuania, Šventoji on the remnants of an old breakwater. The sun light was very harsh that day, so processing the shot was not easy.

Mounted on K-3 II. 28 mm, F2.5, 1/200, ISO100,

Autumnal loneliness. This is a candid shot done in Russia, during excursion to one of the churches near Zvenigorod. I had contacts of the group, so I showed this photo to the "model". She liked it and did not mind it being posted online.

I always ask for permission to post the shots online if I know the person. This is roughly 99% of cases, because I do not do street portraits.
