Looking through my photos that have been Explored on Flickr, I noticed that two of the top three photos, by numbers of faves, were taken with East European lenses.
I don't think I've posted either of the photos here in the Club, which seems a bit remiss, and I'd like to share them now.
The first was taken by a Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 50/1.8, radio-active version. This really accentuates the Pancolar style of painterly bokeh wide open - I've given it a big pp boost. If I counted up all the faves I've received on Flickr per lens (haven't done it), this lens could well be the winner. There's something about how it renders/colours that is very appealing.
The second photo was taken by a Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar T, 58/2, the early version with 17 blades.
