Yes it is 135/3.5 Silver (not the later black version) with 15 blades.

Recently acquired a Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Oreston 50/1.8 and LLC camera. Photographed by a Meyer..Lydith 30/3.5

I'm impressed with the Oreston - sharp, interesting bokeh and colours, and quite a close minimal focus distance. Here are some snaps:

Never had the Oreston proper, but did have the early Pentacon version with the exact same styling. Certainly an interesting (and fun) lens.

CZJ Biotar 58mm f2

The lens seems to be a good one. Do you have experience with the Helios 44? If so, how would you compare them? I have a few CZJ lenses including a 35mm Flek, and my '57 Tessar 50mm is one of my favorites. Aside from its close focusing ability I would find no reason to prefer the Flek over a 35 mm Takumar, though.

Yes, I have experience with the Helios 44.
I have 8 of them, the original 13 and 8 bladed, 2 44-2 with different barrel, 44-3, 44M, 44M-4 and 44M-6.
I find that the Biotar (mine has 12 blades) gives similar results to the 13-bladed Helios 44.
The multicoated Helioses are very different, much sharper (specially the 44M-6) but lacking the "magic".
My preferred one is the 8-bladed 44 followed by the 44-3.

Enna Munchen Lithagon 35mm f3.5

I have about half a dozen 35mm m42 lenses, three Takumars, a Soligor C/D f2, a Flek 2.4, the Lithagon and a Mir1. I like the focal length so I'm curious to see how they perform. I got a new copy of the Lithagon last year but haven't tested it till now. The lens generally gets panned in reviews, but it doesn't seem to be that bad (at least this copy). The first shot was taken at or close to MFD, the second focused at infinity. Both were shot at f11. I gave them both a bit of PP, but nothing excessive or unusual.
I like to use the city scene as a resolution test.

Well, actually Enna's were West Germany (Munich)
Not so important... we are not so strict here, isn't it?
I like Enna lenses, and one of them is at the very top of my dream lenses (85mm f/1.5 in M42 mount, any version). Unfortunately it seems i'm not the only one who longs for this objective, prices are very high.
It's a pity that the old Enna lenses, like yours, have a nicer build, while the newer partly plastic versions have so-and-so build but improved optical design (at least some).
I used a late (all black) 2.8/135mm to shoot a concert, the results were better than expected.
The old version with the same speed/focal was more solid, and probably with tighter tolerances, but it's not as easy to use because the diaphragm ring rotates with the front of the lens when focusing. Not very ergonomic!
Regarding the 35mm, i guess all your 35mm lenses in M42 mount should give a comparable performance at f/11, at least at the center of the frame.
Some people snob Enna's and Soligor's. I don't agree with such blanket statements. There are lenses and lenses.
Enna devised the second zoom lens ever, after the Zoomar (which gave its name to the category of variable focal objectives).
Japanese were far behind at that time...
I see you also have a Soligor C/D 2/35mm.
I like Soligor C/D primes, for the most part made by Tokina.
How is yours? You can PM me if you tested it well enough, here would be off-topic

cheers

Paolo

Thanks for your comment. I agree with your statement that we should not be too hasty to prejudge lenses based on general consensus. The Lithagon as an example. I will have to test it at other apertures, but that will have to wait a bit. I, too, have a good collection of m42 lenses but can only shoot with one at a time. The other Enna lens I have and that I like is the Macro-Revuenon 28mm f2.8. It too needs more use. Of the forty or so lenses I have, only two have been disappointing, a 30mm Pentacon that's decentered and an MOG Domiplan 50mm f2.8 that was so soft and out of focus at infinity that I threw it out.
