Harsh light and shooting with the sun barely out of the frame these two shots looks better in B/W.

Quite a heavy veiling on this one (somewhat camouflaged by the conversion). This lens needs a hood under these circumstances!
No such problems with the sun off to the side.
And last a quick test shot I did in low light to test the "macro". ISO 12,800.

Wow, I had no idea this thread existed. F 35-70 is a wonderful lens, and my favorite zoom ever.

This lens have a lack of hard contrast but a lot of micro contrast. What is great in digital time when contrast is not a issue during processing.
Colors also are great.
So this is happines: toys from my childhood. If you squeeze them they make funny cracky sound.

I still think that is underestimated lens.

Goa. Pentax K1 still funny: if you move from 70 to 35 mm lens is getting longer .

@ 35mm

Cross-posted from the F thread, this was taken with the Takumar-F version of this lens, which lacks SMC but is otherwise identical.

Good lens. Not amazingly sharp, but the auto focus is fast and accurate so it's a pretty good walkaround lens. First 2 shots are heavily cropped and the last picture is shot by my brother when I lent it to him.

A little creek running thru a nearby park. There's a walking/equestrian trail running parallel to it. Photo was taken from a pedestrian bridge. F35-70 on *ist D:

Seems like I am a little late for the party, nevertheless here are some examples taken with a K-3 and the F 35-70mm lens:

Not the most recent pictures but the F 35-70 is still my main walkaround lens for hiking and climbing.
