Of course it's film, these come from the first test roll I shot in a BX20 that I bought in a charity auction for £7 and included a Sigma zoom (that I didn't bother testing)...it's a "new" camera because the one that came with the bag "Carl Zeiss Jena" has the lightmeter off and here in the UK I can't repair it.

I used the usual cheap XP2+ that I buy at Boots and I use for testing new cameras and the development and scan is also from boots, no PP at all, I might have straightened one pic of one or two degrees...all what you see is the merit of the Flektogon, not magic scanning.

I wish I had more light for the flowers, even at f4 the DOF wasn't enough at that shooting distance (I think about 25 cm), not used to close focus lenses.

Nice to see there are others who appreciate this lens. The flektogon 35 2.8 M42 in silver was my first Zeiss Jena, meanwhile i have the Tessar 50 2.8, the Biotar 58/2 and the Sonnar 4/135 as well. ( a 80 or 85mm still on the wish list...)
Here are a few of my first pictures taken with this lens

Hello everyone.
New in PentaxForums. A few days ago I discovered this thread dedicated to Zeiss Flektogon 35mm lenses. Originally Posted by manntax.

I suppose he should have bought it between the years 1970-74. I imagine that he had to use it very little because it seems new. The lenses look perfect without marks of any kind. The problem I see is that I guess that due to 45 years of inactivity the shutter mechanism seems a little lazy. At least f 8 it costs to close. The solution at the moment is to turn the opening ring from the maximum opening to minimum quickly so that the inertia closes the sheets and then open to the required opening.
I put some pictures of the lens and and four photos taken with the Flektogon.
Please, who has the opportunity to buy one that does not miss it.
Thanks manntax.

K-5 IIs with Carl Zeiss Jena electric MC Flektogon 35mm f2.4

how did I miss this club?

I bought my copy late last year and it quickly became a 'desert isle' lens - amazing!
