Hey guys

I've got a small project (heh) and am looking for way to mount the lens to the camera.
Does anyone know of a ___ to k-mount adapter (the other end doesn't matter, it just needs to fit on my camera!) with a thick flange?
I'd need to countersink some screws in in so it would need a certain thickness,
I've salvaged an m42 mount off a lens but I'm not sure the wall thickness is sufficient and would like to check other possibilities before I build the rest of the 'adapter'..

I'm sure someone has done similiar.

Thanks!

I had a free moment yesterday to test a "reversed-front-element" Helios 44-2 that I read about long ago, but did the night before ... so, I grabbed the Leitz Hektor 8.5 f/2.5 rig (in another de-glassed 44-2 body) and took a few snaps ... at Blossac Park, Poitiers

I like the third the most - nice combination of modest colors and smoothness!

I adventured out last night in downtown Poitiers and took the K-1 + Malik Trioplan Anastigmat (85/2.8 ?) projector lens mounted with a 15 blade aperture and extension tubes ... here probably wide open or stopped down just a bit. I cannot remember and forgot to take notes ...

Prime ektanars...

Bonjour Jean, Hi everybody...

I've recently found this wonderful thread, and since I've begun experimenting with projector lenses myself, (Though I'm not a Pentaxian at the moment, my old K1000 collecting dust) I decided to present the two ones I've been using, since they have a good performance and don't seem to be very hard to find.

First the Ektanar 102 mm F2.8; The last picture is the ektanar 127mm F2.8.
I hope I managed to convey the bubble bokeh and sharpness theses lenses can offer.

Good day to you all.

Been absent too long so here's an offering of the Angénieux 50/1.2 (16mm cinema projection lens mounted in M42 extension tube set) on the K-1 ... I need to shoot a lot of my projection lenses with the K-1 to see if there is any difference and/or improvements on a full frame sensor ... more later, promise.

Which projector lens do you think is the best among them? It´s very difficult to compare the sharpness and bokeh when the images aren´t the same. It should have been very interesting to see a picture from each lens with the same image.

Projector lenses covering 6x7

Hello all,

I've been scouring the internet for projector lenses that I can adapt to the Pentax 67. What are some of you guy's experiences?

Hello Doc, welcome to the forums.

The only projector lens I have that will cover medium format without infinity issues is an Elmaron 2,8/150. This is not surprising as it comes from a medium format projector Leitz Prado Universal. I guess that you can source any lens intended for medium format projectors and use them with success on your Pentax 67. There are some projector lenses of the Sonnar design used in Hasselblad medium format projectors, the one I've seen before is P-Sonnar 4/250, but the price never justified the purchase for me. There is a plethora of lenses you can use from Mamiya and Rollei MF projectors. As they come from the "manual slide advance" projectors, that have been rendered obsolete, it might be cheap to get the hands on one of those. Elmaron can be bought often on ebay for about 30-40 EUR. The image quality is great for a triplet.
