Few more from M200/f4. So light and sharp when stepped down to 5.6

Thanks, Tom. Which one you like the most? I like the second one better due to the hands expression. These guys are construction workers and standing on the second floor getting ready to build the roof. They are about 10 meters above the ground and yet no security helmet or whatsoever...

With the lowly M200 f/4 ... a couple of otters in the zoo. Nothing dramatic but cute I think. I used trap focus which I find very reliable, although a touch laborious. Cropped by about a third across the width. The light was very gloomy.

1/125 (yes, SR works). ISO 800.

I think I like this lens better than the M50/f1.4. Focusing at wide open with the f1.7 is much easier than the f1.4 and the IQ is stunning.

Stopped down to f2.4 I think. You can see the difference in the boked form.

smc-m 50/1.4 goes to the rally (yeah, i know i'm not sane. i shot most of the rest with samyang 85/1.4, never going beyond 2.8 aperture or so

)

and an old classic with the samyang (i know, offtopic, but this lens diserves the glory imho

, i hope you don't mind: if it had been an smc-m, nobody would have found it out of place)

the Samyang is a very nice lens indeed. too bad I had to let it go due to AF preference and I was having a difficult time using it.
