There's a K 400/5.6 on the dutch craigslist equivalent at the moment, if someone is seriously interested I can see if I could help out... just send me a PM

True enough Gene.

Just took a look on EBAY and someone wants over $1600.00 for an A 400/5.6.

A year ago I saw one for half that price. My M 400/5.6 is looking better all the time.

Beautiful shot and beautiful girl.

And my M 400/5.6 that I got some 20 years ago or more at C$330 is looking like a really, really good investment. It takes pictures, too.
ISO 400, 1/80 @ f/8, Tripod.

It sure is Albert. The is one on EBAY for $625 at the moment and that is about $150 more than I paid for mine a year and a half ago.

M 85mm @ F/2.8

Got to love it when your friends little brother wants a new profile pic on the fly

edit: I forgot to add, this is with a takumar 135mm hood (49mm thread). It really helps bring out the best of this lens

I can finally join the club! I just bought the often mentioned M 50 f/1.7. I bought it from a nice lady on Craigslist for $40. The lens in in Mint condition. ( She also had an A 100mm /4 Macro in mint condition for $60! ) Both are fabulously made and a joy to use. Anyway here is my first contribution to this great thread.

Not appreciated ?

Hello guys
I am happy with my K24/2.8, K28/3.5 and K35/3.5. However, I am looking for a low light lens (F2) in the 28-35mm range. I was so happy to find the M28/2 for a nice price but quite unexpectedly I had to pay $1500 to fix three teeth
So, this means I have to go for something less expensive and upgrade later (if needed). I have found two lenses, the K35/2 and M35/2. I don't need edge to edge sharpness as I have this in the K35/3.5. I am simply looking for a low light lens with a long enough focus throw to allow precise focusing...... and of course it should be sharp enough in the centre for indoor portraits.
Do you think I will be happy with the M35/2? According to what I have read the K35/2 is a little sharper and with better bokeh, but I really like the size of the M-version. I have read the reviews here and also looked in PPG but feel free to share your experiences and to post pics
Kind regards
.lars

Yep, but I was offered the M 28 F2 for a lower price than the FA 35......so I am looking for a lens in the $100-200 range.

Kind regards
