Guys & gals, sorry I haven't had time to comment and contribute lately!

Much like the DA 15ltd mind control thread, sometime after this thread reaches 2000 posts, I'm going to go through and pick out my top-25 favorite images from it (none mine,) re-link them in a post and give some commentary on why I like them so much.

It will be hard to pick the top 25, but looking back through this thread, I'm already looking forward to it. Get your shots in!

Hi Guys,
My first M zoom turned up as an unexpected auction bonus. The M 80-200/4.5...and what a bonus !!!
Took it to the farmers market this morning, not expecting much and wow! every shot was sharp. Taking it out for another tour now.

Hey Transit these look great.

I'll have to dust off my M 80~200/4.5 and see if I can do as well as these.

Pete...

I have one of these and it is very sharp.

It is still sharp even with a Nikon 6T added to it; it makes for a versatile close-up combination.

Testing out a new to me M50mm f/1.7

The nest step is running a roll of film through the ME body that it came with.

Taken on my first roll of film that I developed and enlarged with my M 50mm f/1.4. Very proud of this one.

And here's the M family.

A quick walkabout at the end of last week with my "new" 85/2 yielded these. Nothing special, but I like the rendering. I used it successfully for some portraiture at a party at the weekend too. All SOOC.

F4 or 5.6 or 8

unknown aperture

F2.8

I went for a quick lunchtime walkabout today.

K200D, M 85mm F2 at F5.6 or 8, upped saturation a little

K200D, M 28mm F2.8 at F5.6 or 8, increased saturation & contrast

Same market with SMC M 28 f3.5 at iso 160 1/200 sec -1/3 EV also in the 8-11 range

Eddie:

Those figs!!! My dad took me to Italy when I was 11 - a log time ago. A local girl took us to pick some fresh figs just like those in your picture. The ones we get in our supermarkets pale by comparison. I haven't had a fig like them since. Happy memories. Thanks for the shot.
