jsherman, I love your shot of the muddy dog a couple pages back. Lots and lots of great photos in this thread, I'm still just trying to get decent focus in MF!

Can I join too? I've been playing with my M f/1.7 lately... practicing MF, exposure, and flash. My friend's cats are convenient --and challenging -- subjects. No PP yet, these are still one-off practice shots.

M 50 f/1.7, wide open:

100% crop... it's a pity, I missed focus on this one. Ah well... practice makes perfect.

Here is my M-club entry

I hope you don't mind it being on a Vivatar 2x focusing macro teleconverter.

1. SMC M 50 1.4 + Vivitar 2x macro tele (K10D)

2. SMC M 50 1.4 + Vivitar 2x macro tele (K10D)

And one of my favorite shots with the SMC M 50 1.4 by it self

M 35/2

M 35/2. It is no longer with me because I bought DA35/2.8 Macro but it is good lens with a lot of glass inside.

Acouple taken this morning with my M135 f3.5. I t was such a beautiful morning I went for a walk around the waterfront to breath a bith of salt air. aaaaaagh it was great. It was early so sun was just starting to become effective.
That lens is a top lens, wouldn't part with it at any price (wellll just maybe for the right price).

Hi,
first of all I'm sorry, but I don't own any Pentax M lenses, neither Takumars or Super Takumars. But I do have manual lens! Yes, only one...
Technicaly, now it's part of "family" It's Hoya HMC 135 f2.8
here's the metal beauty and one picture with it

Me too...

Hi All,

Yesterday I was so inspired by all posts and photos that I ordered a 135mm F2.5 lens, a Super Takumar. And of course, I just had to play with it. It seems dogs and M lenses go together well...

BTW, I paid 10 euros for the lens (about 15 USD)

Apart from the 135mm, I also own a K55 F1.8, a Takumar 55mm F1.8 (great lens!) and some others will be arriving in the mail shortly. Not all Pentax lenses, but also a couple of Pentacon M42 lenses. I guess LBA got to me (again).

Roger.

Simon, your M42 Super Takumar 85mm f/1.9 looks great with the white flower, but i especially love the red rose.

gokenin, i know exactly what you mean about the older lenses. I've been looking at picking up a couple of more M's.
Love the sharpness and colour quality of your smc-135 f2.5.

Jandon, lovely clear shots with the M135 f3.5.

Bramela, for some strange reason your pics aren't loading for me at the moment.

Piotr, love the detail you got with the M 35/2. All 3 are great, but i love the landscape shot.

Brew1brew, the closeups of the bees are excellent. I've never been able to get close enough to the bees to get a decent shot. Love the lighting with the statue too.

yenemy, what gorgeous blue eyes the cat has. You did nice on the crop.

Here's a couple more flower shots from the cemetery.

These next 3 shots were taken inside a shopping centre with the 50/1.7

.

Sincerly, great shots, all. Ann, you're making that M 50 1.7 sing - that first shot of
those blue/white flowers just kills me. lithos, jandon, gokenin, piotr, brew1brew,
and everyone else, superb stuff.

Took a little walk at dusk down by by the lake with the M 28 f/2.8. It was very
overcast, light failing, but the dusky light made the spring green of the new leaves
pop. I also like the range of blue on the water & blue canopies on the sailboats.
The M 28 doesn't dull the colors or misrepresent them.
