These were taken in a canyon where my bro-in-law was fishing in the summer. I wandered off to look for photo opportunities & found some vultures. They´re a protected species & this was in a nature reserve. Unfortunately, the M100/2.8 was the longest lens I had with me. The DA55-300 would have been better for the birds.

M50/1.4 wide open (1/2500)

argh - focus ran diagonally across the head, missing both eyes.

But I love the color and contrast that the glass provides.

I've had this lens for almost a year now but have been using it on my 35mm adapter-camcorder. This may be the second time I actually used it on the camera. What was I thinking? Pretty cool lens.

I like the series. I have an M28/3.5 waiting for me at my folks´ place, so I´ll get it in a month when I´m back. Looks like the colour, contrast & sharpness are everything they´re supposed to be with this lens.

Thanks! I love this lens too. Focus distance beyond 3m is considered infinity so it's very easy to focus when shooting landscape

Got to practice my manual focusing skills a few weeks ago. Have to do a lot more practicing before I get as good as Marc Sabatella though.
