"M"s Forever!

I'm a new site member but have been shooting Pentax for decades. Now I've collected a few DA's and other AF lenses but still use my M's as much as I can, both with digital bodies and film bodies.
My collection of SMC Pentax M's;
2.8 28mm
1.7 50mm
2.0 50mm (2)
2.0 85mm
2.8 100mm
4.0 100mm (Macro)
3.5 135mm
4.0 200mm
Yep, all primes, I've got a couple of M zooms around somewhere but hardly ever use them.
As soon as I figure out how to post photos, a few will be coming along.
Thanks to all here for keeping me inspired with the great photos and comments!
Ron

A couple of photos I took yesterday in Tokyo. I thought if I spent the day with my 28/2.8 I'd start to like it but I just don't like the colors it produces, there's just something off to me. Anywho, here are a few that I kinda like...

Edit - Its only letting me attach one photo

This year's ADAC Eifelrennen (Eifel race) on the legendary Nürburgring.

A weekend full of roaring thunder, screaming enigines, tire smoke and exhaust fumes. :-)

Pictures show mosty CanAm trophy - and the start of the Eifelrennen itself. While the CanAm cars stay on the grand prix track, participants of the Eifelrennen will beat their vintage cars roughly 500km on the fearsome Nordschleife.

All pictures taken with k200d and smc pentax-m 1:4.5 80-200mm. Yes, I know, there is dust on my sensor. :-(

85mm f2? Now we're talkin'!!

Thanks for the welcome Jsherman,
I've only had the 85 a couple of weeks now but have used it a lot since. It has the most amazing bokeh of any lens I've seen. Sometimes the background looks like a water painting or a surreal, impressionistic wash of colors. It makes the main subject pop off the screen (or print, I'd guess).
I thought my 100mm f2.8 M had the finest bokeh I'd seen, but now it has a rival!
I've made a folder labeled "Bokeh" and am collecting shots with wild out-of-focus areas. Hope to post some soon.
Regards,
Ron

I started out taking a lot of pictures with the M28/2.8 but the K24/2.8 has largely replaced it. I'll have to take my 3 wide normals (K24, M28 and Viv28) out sometime and shoot some comparison landscapes, cityscapes and architecture shots to be sure that the K24 is the leader of the pack. But my M28 sits in the cabinet alot now.

I sat in a park on Sunday hoping to photograph some nice young ladies but my only good shots were of children. But I particularly like bubble boy.

I missed the focus on all but one shot of this kid. Luckily I was successful on the other two kids because they were one time deals as they sped past on their bikes.

Was planning on getting a 135mm lens today but end up getting a lens I've been looking for for quite a while, M85 f2! This particular one has quite stiff focusing ring but I can live with that. I think this is the 5th short I took with it.

Purple fringing is evident wide open so I just turn it into B&W

You´ve got an excellent lens there. Mine had a stiff focusing ring too, but it loosened up nicely with a little use. Stop it down to f/2.8 to get rid of most of the fringing.
