My Photos

Wow! There's some great photography on the last couple of pages (all I've managed to read so far) and I'm not sure my work is in this league but here goes anyway, my album on this Forum;
rbefly's Album: rbefly photos - PentaxForums.com
The first two were taken at a classic car "Cruise" last weekend, lots of old street rods, customs, bikes and fun stuff. After about 50 car photos I noticed the sunset was a beautiful orange-red but overall it was pretty dark out. I propped the K110D on a newspaper box and got the first shot with an M 100mm f2.8
Same lens for the 53(?) Chevy.
The British sports car was a "found on the street" shot earlier that day, with a DA 16-45mm.
The four flower photos are all taken with my trusty M 100mm f4.0 Macro, I think most are wide open with shutter speeds in the 1/250s range.
M's forever!
Ron

Some really great shots here since the last time I checked in!

I haven't been shooting that much the last few months, and my M120/2.8 is the only M that stays in my bag, so most of the M shots I have recently are from that lens. Here are some of my favorites from the summer - all M120/2.8 on my K200D:

Dry as a bone in Texas

These are just a few walkaround shots of Lake Grapevine (Dallas, TX area) with a K100D and an M50/1.7, mostly @f/8 or so. Four months of record heat and zero measurable rainfall has left the lake about 24" below normal, and a lot of "new" shoreline is exposed. Much of the grass and trees here are dead or dying. Even fish in the lake are dying due to depleted oxygen levels. So all you east coast folks complaining about lack of sunshine, count your blessings and please send your gloomy cloudy rainy weather over here!

My wife wandering with her Sony DSLR can be seen as a black/white speck, right of center near the water's edge...

Tino standing where it would normally be underwater -

This gar didn't make it...

These are growing on the 'new' shoreline (@f/1.7)

This is a photo of nothing - the building opposite mine. But I like it. TBH, I think I like any photo taken by the M85 f/2 that includes blue sky, as the lens renders it better than any other I have.

F/2.8

The Pentax M 28mm f3.5 is one of my sharpest lenses by far. Absolutely love it.

The M 28/3.5 was my favourite wide angle scenery lens for many years. It is a good one. It favourable impressed me with the minimal distortion as well as the clarity.

Saw an M 50mm 1.7 on the flea market the other day. Well I gotta say this is the first M lens that did not disappoint me, very sharp and nice smooth focus, not too tiny.
