I got the M28 out again for a dayhike this weekend. We hiked the JinShui trail (historic cross island trail) in southern Taiwan. It crosses over the central mountain range (about 2500m IIRC) and luckily there is a road to the top (military radar station). After that it's a gently graded 20km hike down to our waiting van. I also used my DA40 and crossposted photos in the DA limited clubs.

I had to swap to the M28 near the end of the hike to get a little wider

One thing I've found regarding the K-x, it meters M and K lenses very very nicely, spot on almost, pleasurable compared to K10 or 20. The K-x is now my designated green button camera

As the new guy around here, who just looked at all 196 pages of this thread. There's lot of good work from the members on those pages. And the post from PSCHLUTE on page 20 showing his lens collection is very impressing. Great work everyone!

Welcome wayne james, and thanks for the pointer. What a collection! There's just nothing quite like those M- and K-series lenses.

I just "upgraded" to the M50 1.7 from the A50 2. What a difference!
I want to say these are in the range of 5.6-2. I was using a flash so I didn't want it super open.
