Great shot Rick. Love that M50/1.7!
Here is one from mine, as close as it will focus.

Great colours.

What caused the vignetting?

Yes they are. Another view:

Allmost every macro shot is taken with M50 1.7 or M40-80:

the baby spiders pic is pretty cool. here are a few from the M135. some are crops (no tubes) and some had 10-30mm's of tubes added. The butterflies were a little skittish so I could have used a little more reach than the 135 but it worked. And most of the cheap 200/300 options have long min focus distances.

I stayed in Maolin last weekend at a guesthouse. At 10pm the father was looking for a new species of frogs (12 different ones lived there) because he heard a different croak. Soon we were all looking at the frogs. The next day I visited Purple Butterfly Valley where they spend their winter.

Nice shots abacus. What do You like about M135? I'm going to buy tripod from local dealer, we were talking this and that. He told me that he have K1000 + M135 + M28 2.8?? somewhere in his storage, he maybe borrow those lens for me for free and with no time limit.

The M135 and M28 are a couple of the most common Pentax lenses made AFAIK. There are better (but not by a lot) 28's and 135's but very few that come close to the price vs performance that these two offer. the M50/1.7 that you have is the 3rd (and best imo) out of the set that were commonly sold in the 80's. I haven't reviewed any lenses (plans to do so...) here but I would probably give the 28 and 135 solids 8's and the 50 a 9. What I like about this set is that it is small, cheap ($50ish each) and they take really, really good pictures. I typically carry the DA15 and the 28/50/135 around even though I have several lenses that have better even reputations (such as the K24/2.8, K35/3.5, tak105). I also use the DA40 quite a bit but I have been trending back to the A50/1.7 (same optics except there is aperture control from the camera).

At the top of my list right now is the M100f4 macro since one drawback of the M135 is a long min focus distance.

Another photo from the butterfly valley. I didn't want to crop this any further since he was a long way away.
