Yeah, I know what you talk about. But I have to say, that focal lenght has a lot to do with lot of things. Some times at 75-80 these lenses are neck to neck. but M 40-80 takes more effort. Here is some shots with M 75-150/4.

Found a mint M 50/2.0 in my lens cabinet, I can't even remember where and when I got it but results are nice (K10D @ f2.8)
