Awesome series Eddie.

You make that M 100/2.8 sing.

Can't believe I ever let that lens go.

Great shots, Eddie.

I too love my M100/2.8. so light and small.

Tom: did you sell the M100/2.8 because of the A100/f2.8? Is that because of the A feature? I assume optically they are both identical.

thanks, I like the m100, though it can fringe badly in the right situation. Easy enough to avoid after i discovered that. I would like the A feature myself, but don't think it's worth the massive premium (my M cost me $25 or so, A's seem to go for about 10 times that or more)

Nice photos but I didn't know there was such a thing as a SMC-M 55 f1.8. I thought it was a K

It must be a K, the M equivalent is the 50mm f/1.7.

Mea Culpa, it was past midnight when I posted. I'd been using my M 50 1.7 as well and got confused! I prefer the 55 to the 50 though. The M-200 doesn't get out much, now it is lighter in the evenings I need to use it more!

Stephen

Spring Dragon might be the best shot I've seen with an M 200/4.

Well done.

These are cross-posted from the film thread, but they're taken with M lenses. I'm particularly pleased with how the M85 performs, better than on digital (seems sharper and without fringing) and a more useful focal length.

M 50mm f/1.4 at f/4

M 50mm f/1.4 at f/2.0

M 50mm f/1.4 at f/4

M 85mm f/2 at f/3.5 (with ND3 filter)
