Thank You!

With extension tubes it is versatile macro machine, 68mm extension and 1:4 macro setting it gives ~1,24x magnification and target is allmost 6cm from front lens. Without extension I don't like it.

A recent rework of an older shot. Tripod, 6 second exposure, M50/1.7 at f/11. Hope it isn't overdone.

Very nice shot, kcobain1992.

It has a nice feel to it.

The split tone works very well for this one, I prefer it to the original B/W

The reworked image works well apart from cropping it too close to the top of the jug handle. I would stick to the original crop, but perhaps burn in the top right corner more so it isn't a plain empty space.

I did notice the strange crop after I uploaded it, however I'm not too sure if I will reupload it just for that. The 16x9 aspect ratio is pretty infuriating, but the nature of the composition only allows for such weird ratio, maybe even weirder. I guess I wasn't that preoccupied about composition one year ago

SMC Pentax M 400/5.6

Been a while since I posted in the M thread. My M 400/5.6 has become pretty much a walk around lens for me. I usually snap it on the K5 along with the monopod when I go out for a walk. It has lots of reach in case I stumble across some local wildlife which might be difficult to approach. The other day I managed a few shots of a Red-Tailed Hawk.

I think he was getting a little annoyed here.

Thanks Albert,

The old M 400 did a pretty good job here.

I've been trying to get a decent shot of one of these guys for years.
