M 400 - Common Nighthawk

Cross posted - M club, 300 club

We went to Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta for a couple of days. On the cottonwood tree branch above our trailer site a pair of common nighthawks were basking in the sun.

Beautiful setting and well done with the M28/2.8, a great sharp little lens.

A couple with my trusty old M28/2.8 from earlier this year, and among my very first attempts with a DSLR after 30 years of Kodachrome.

Hubble doesn't seem impressed with your technique - but I am. Great shot!

I spent some time this afternoon working on some Brenizer method photos, which I haven't done in a while.

All were taken using jpeg only 2MP shots with the M 85mm f/2. Cross-posted to the Brenizer method thread.
