I don't know if this image will show up as I have not had much luck posting them into a thread. Anyway, this is an example of that poor underrated M2:0

Pentax M50mm f2.0 lens, under appreciated. Vancouver 2012 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Well I just don't get it, I have to use the Flicker link. Nothing I have tried has allowed me to post an image here.
Like the picture. Looks like typical Vancouver weather (I was born 30 miles South).
I use the paper clip and upload from my PC to show images in line.

Nice and sharp that M200/4 by the looks of it?

Sometimes I am reminded of why I keep these little Ms - look at the fantastic colours, SOOC with no editing at all:

K5, M20/4 @ 5.6.

Apologies for the crap shot, however!

Yeah, the K5 has a bit of a habit of that if you let AWB do its thing with the M20/4.

Here's the completely untouched RAW:

The only thing that works for me off Flicker, is to right click on an image, select the size I want, then Copy Image (not URL), then, paste the image directly into the message window. If I select BB code or HTTP code, I either end up with text or a little white square. Using the icons didn't work either.
As for uploading from the computer, it is hit and miss even when downsized correctly. It works sometimes, and others the upload screen goes blank after a few moments.

What needs be explained, and I just discovered, is that when the BB code is uploaded via the icon, one only sees text - UNTIL - it is posted. This is unlike posting the image directly, when the image appears instantly.

I just go to the size (from "view all sizes")I want and then right click on the image and select copy image location.

Then here I select "insert image" and copy your image location into there.

I'm shooting with an M 28mm F3.5 in the current Single in September challenge.

If interested, take a look here: southlander's Album: Single in September - PentaxForums.com

Seven images there now, more images will be posted as the month progresses.

kcobain1992, seems like a funny thing to caption that photo with. It looks great by the way. Not sure if your pro or again K5II but it is what it is.

Thanks. Yes, it saddens me that so many people got caught in this Photokina frenzy, that they forgot to continue to take pictures, which is what it's all about. In the end, the medium, be it film, APS-C or full frame, only makes a marginal difference on a good final image.

True, but in a camera-specific forum like this one, "gear talk" is going to trump photos and "photo talk" every time (even though we do have a relatively good balance here). It's just the nature of the beast. I admit to getting caught up in it sometimes, even tho I shoot with older gear & mostly MF lenses, and don't plan any major upgrades soon.
