Thanks. Yes, it saddens me that so many people got caught in this Photokina frenzy, that they forgot to continue to take pictures, which is what it's all about. In the end, the medium, be it film, APS-C or full frame, only makes a marginal difference on a good final image.
Very true IMHO... As an example, I am now more comfortable using the K20D; this, after 1 year and 10,000 clicks but can finally say I know how to use this camera to it's fullest potential

K10D + Pentax M 28/2.8 but I still love the K10D though

Thanks! I had decent light on a hazy January day when that was taken. I kind of like the M50/2 for portraits - not razor-sharp, but just sharp enough

50 f/2 mounted on my K-5

So, I finally mounted my good old M 50 f/2 on my K-5 today and I'm going to head out soon and shoot the fall colors here in southern Finland. This will be my first outing with an M mounted on my K-5, hopefully I will not have any problem with green button workflow.

Some history on this lens, this is my very first Pentax lens, it came mounted on the ME Super I got in the early 80’s. In fact I still have the ME Super which still works, apart from a few of the meter LEDs in the viewfinder which quit years ago. It's probably a simple connection problem, but as I don't shoot film any more it's a non-issue. I also have the M 80-200 f/4.5, my only other M lens. I hope to acquire an M 28 or 35 in the near future. Both my M's are in pristine condition. These lenses were also used on the ZX-5n that I own.

Thanks! I was really surprised at the sharpness. 100% crop on many of the images turned out very sharp, even though I didn't use a tripod for any of the shots.
