A little bit of purple fringing with harshly contrasting edges wide open, but that's easily remedied in Lightroom. This is the flower of the cannonball tree (it's called that because the seeds are contained in a ball - not visible here – the size of a cannonball, which explodes, sending them all over the place).

That explosion must be quite a sight. Great snap.

Hello again,

Thought I'd post a recent couple of my #2 boy. I know, "not another baby shot", but portrait work has always been my weakness. Since I've been working with the M50 f/1.7, I've really been getting some great results.

My K-5 is giving new life to my old lenses. Here's one from my M -28 mm f/2.8 at 1/30, ISO 800.

Not bad, but it would have looked better at f/11, iso 100 and tripod.

Spring around the corner?

Been a while since I posted in the M club.

Took the M 400/5.6 out for a spin today. A pair of Canada geese seemed to be shopping about for a nest site.

Usually the Robins are only a week or so behind once these guys start nesting. Spring shortly follows

in my part of Ontario.

Thanks Jean, repaap

Even though it was cold today I can sort of feel Spring in the air.

The nesting geese are just another sign.
