Thanks, and your not that far away really, about as far as a trek for me to seattle. Ever make it down to north idaho?
Sure do. Year before last we did the Selkirk National Highway loop in our trailer. Since we live in the Rockies, it wasn't as spectacular as it might have been, for us , but it was fun anyway.

Well, it was something new to look at anyway. I need to head up north at some point, I've never been.

Look up the Selkirk Loop. It'll bring you into Canada for a while. Just make sure you have all the documents to get back unto the USA.

NEX-5N
M75-150/4

Impressively and plausibly sharp.Do you think that the NEX-5N's sensor contributed anything to the sharpness, or was it all the Pentax-M 75- 150 f4-5.6

The camera may have contributed, but the M75-150/4 is amazingly sharp throughout its range! Nice image.

It's an in-camera JPEG, and I think I have the sharpness on +2… but I have found the M75-150 to be one of the sharpest zooms I have experienced. Massively underrated - I think I got this one for £15!

I agree that it's very much under-rated ... but that did not stop me from paying a bit more for mine ... still quite happy with it. Salut; J

PS - get catch @ £15 !

Thanks CR. We've had the hottest summer on record here. My wife has a magnificent rose garden. The past two days the temperatures have been below 90F so that the blooms haven't been burnt and I've been able to venture outside. There are times when I think, "I must get all AF lenses..my eyesight not getting any better", but I can't see myself ever getting rid of my M series collection.

Nothing wrong with those. I like the one with the cars, it has the look of a painting.
