Here's a couple with the under-appreciated but to my mind excellent M28 f2.8. I was exploring the back roads north east of Saskatoon and found this monument at the intersection of two grid roads out in the middle of nowhere. I don't know if it's a grave or a sign post or what, as the text is in cyrillic.

Here's a 100% crop of the text, if anyone can make out what it says

And just about half a mile away was this church.

Thanks for posting these. They remind me of my 17 years of living on the prairies in Manitoba.

Exactly -- doesn't get nearly the love it deserves. Very nice set and especially #3 of the old church. A bit sad to see it running down although it still looks in pretty good shape.

Nice shots! I love my M28/2.8. I never owned one in my film days, I picked my copy up from a friend in mint condition for a good price. I will never part with it. It's a really good focal length on APS-C... a semi-wide normal (eq. 42mm). It's a respectably sharp lens with that nice, classic SMC color rendition I like so much.

Nice shot of the church. Your lens seems very good. made me regret that I saw a copy of this lens 2 weeks ago and didn't take it.

I took my M 100mm macro lens with me to holiday,
And here are some shots I took with it. (cross posting some of them from SI threads)

Love the out of focus with the M 50 f/1.4. Will be cross-posting to the bokeh thread.

I really like these scenic vistas with the 50 - esp. the first one.

Straight out of camera, no editing other than slight crop & resizing. Pentax *istD & SMC M50/1.7 wide-open.
