We have a weekly car meet here that starts just before the sun goes down. I always take the M 50 1.7 with me, and always enjoy using it.

found out there's haze on the front element (don't know which one...), so that may be why my M100/4 isn't nearly as sharp as I expected it to be... Repairs quoted at $120~, about what I paid for it. Not bad overall though, I still like it. I just have to be careful about strong backlight!

Tonight's moon. Had to do some post-sharpening. Created a bit of a halo, but it brought out some detail on the surface! The massive light halo is due to VERY thin clouds. It was far better an hour prior to the shot, but I was too far away from my camera...

The M100 macro is a fine lens. What you think is haze, is likely delamination. I had the same problem, but no spare are available. If you avoid glare situaltions, it is as good as ever.

An x-post, SMC Pentax-M 80-200mm f/4.5, 1st version.
It's a much underrated lens, IMHO, with some evident limits, but it can perform if you are careful enough. Resolving power is very good once stopped down.

And they show up not infrequently for sale. Mine is NOT for sale. You should be able to pick one up from KEH or the forum for about the repair cost. Not everybody seems to like MF and no A settings on the aperture ring. Doesn't bother you or me, but just saying.

My long time wanted Pentax-M 75-150mm f4 lens. Wide open. This one will stay on my camera for a while, need more tests.

This lens is really good (at least in my few outings with it ). Wide open it's good. Stop it to 5.6 and it's really even better. Decent flare resistance. Color are not too saturated. And it's sooooo liiiiight

If the test from the start are good, then you will like this lens i think. It have completely replace my Vivitar 70-210/3.5 (1st version).
