Here's a shot with my M 100 macro @ f5.6.

I tried it wide open @ f4.0, but I liked the result better one stop down.

I have a lot of M lenses, but usually post their pictures in the film group. Just to put in an appearance, here is an example MX with M100/f4

Here are a couple of Brenizer method shots I took this morning, with the M 85mm f/2, wide open. Cross-posted to the Brenizer thread.

Beautiful colors in #1. I recently bought a 75-150mm but have yet to put it to use. The reviews rate it quite high. Have you used yours very much?

I haven't used mine much as I only bought it last summer and I usually use shorter ffocal lengths, but I was stunned by the image quality when I first took it out.

I just went back from 4 days of rock climbing, i used it pretty much as my main lens.

At f4 it has quite a good resolution, with a tad lower contrast than other stops. Perfect for portrait or background separation.

At f5.6 is very good.

At f8 it's even better but not by much.

The blue are ... very blue The saturation is perfect : not too much, not "not enought".

The fringing or CA are almost inexistant except in bokeh high light ( a tad green).

It's a very good lens. It will definitely be part of my kit instead of the vivitar S1 70-210/3.5 1st version.

One from the backyard last night with the M75-150/4 - I don't remember if this was at f/4 or 5.6...

A very nice image, Paul. Although it's just an everyday scene, it has some remarkable appeal to it. The lighting colors are very nice, indeed.... and the composition is spot on. Very sharp, also.

Thanks Dewman - it's a nice little zoom, one that I'm coming to appreciate more every day

It IS a nice LITTLE zoom, isn't it? Quite compact and very comfortable to use. And that wonderful Pentax-M feel!
