Since I put VSCO software on my phone I occasionally pass the time by playing with older shots I have on the memory card - running them through a filter and fiddling. So here's a VSCO version of a shot from earlier this year with the M 75-150/4.

I put my M 85mm f/2 lens on my X-M1 this morning and got these two. Passed them to my phone with wifi & PP'ed them a little in VSCO. These were both taken at f/4.

SMC Pentax 75-150mm.... the red-headed stepchild!

Of all the manual zooms, I think the little 75-150mm lens is probably the most overlooked lens of the lot. It's a stellar performer in just about every category you care to grade it in. It's sharp far beyond all expectations, it's color rendition is awesome, it's build quality is.... well, it's a Pentax-M.... that pretty much says it as far as quality of build. It's easy to operate, with a good focus ring throw. What's NOT to like? No auto-focus? Aw, gee whizz! No quick-shift? Oh, Darn it! Say what? NO "A" setting? Well, I'll be hornswaggled!

But, if you can find your way past all those missing new-fangled doo-dads and whizz-bang options, then you've got yourself one hell of a nice lens! Then, if you attach it to a half-way competent photographer, it will turn out some amazing images.

Another astro shot with my M28/2.8. Really a great lens for mixing stars and landscapes.

That's a very nice, moody night winter scene, Piotrek.

Nice vanishing point.

Thanks for all the kind words! M 28/2.8 is maybe not ultimate sharp at wider apertures, but it is sharp enough across the frame at infinity which is not the case for the most cheap 28 mm lenses.
