UFO par Kris Lockyear, on ipernity

Composite of six photos, five of which were shot with the M100/2.8. I forget what lens I used to photograph the moon.

Nice shots from one of my favorite M-lenses.

Here's a couple from 2010, taken with the M50/2 (800 iso? what was I thinking?)

Pentax-m 24-35 f/3.5 shot at 24mm f/8
Basic RAW conversion to match the ooc JPEG.

Not a particularly interesting scene but, demonstrates why am really impressed with this compact little zoom. Very nice rendering with good colours, nice contrast and sharpness. Exhibits a slight amount of Red/Cyan fringing which is very easily removed in post. Seems to be pretty rare and hard to find. Bought it for a very reasonable price.

I know it's not an M but here's my version but on a Zenitar 50mm Macro. I think we share plum trees.

Hello all,

In 2007 I took some shots on my ME Super, using outdated Fuji film (400 SASA), and then left the film unprocessed and not refrigerated......for 8 years! Anyway, I got the films processed last year and yesterday scanned some of the images using the scanner in the local library. Here is one of the images. It's grainy as........ a grainy thing......and has some dust spots and other assorted debris. Apart from that....I like it.

Some stellar photos in this club. Way to go people! Happy to see all these lenses are still being used.

M 50mm f/1.4 is by far my favorite fast 50, as well as my first. I will subscribe with a couple of pictures made with it. First one made @f/2, second @f/8.

Recently got my first Pentax zoom - the Pentax-M 35-70mm f/2.8-3.5. What a lens! Great for outdoors.
Shame it has pretty lousy close focus range, but otherwise it's pretty stellar piece of glass.

Nice set of images! Yes, it's an old-school zoom, but amazing once you get used to the long MFD. I love mine.

Pentax-M 35mm f2.8

Dying Daffodil

Here is something I've never tried before - selective hand-coloration of a monochrome image. I've seen these many times (even in film days), but for some reason this dying daffodil needed bo be in B&W, but still needed some color to help it stand out. Thoughts?

Pentax K5, Pentax-M 35mm f2.8 lens either wide open f2.8 or f4, ISO400, overcast lighting
