Here are a couple of photos of people sitting on the rocks at Finisterre ("The end of the earth") in Galicia. A lot of people arrive here on foot after a long and challenging pilgrimmage, for religious or personal reasons. If I'd had more time or lived locally I think this could be an interesting photo project - what people do once they reach here.

The lady in the blue shirt was in tears for a while. I hope she found what she was looking for on the way.

We were looking for a rope bridge over a river in Galicia and drove down a track and found this place where a lot of tree trunks were covered with stacked rocks. There was a retired man down there, it seems this was a spot he likes to come to to relax, get some fresh air etc. He had stacked all the rocks - I don't know why but it was a bit creepy. We explained to him that we were lost and he jumped in his car and showed us the way to the bridge, which was very kind of him. He didn't mind me taking a few shots of his "artwork".
