You could be right. It was really easy to open, so it probably has been opened before.

The topic you linked was really helpful. I think I got the infinity right. It's clearly just adjustment issue.

Thanks for the tip.

Fall shots to test new lens.

Pentax K-1 with Pentax-M 100mm f 4.0 macro. Nice sharp lens, well built, not just for macro.

You're welcome. The M28/3.5 is a good lens. No point having one needlessly hobbled!

The M28/3.5 renders blues really well, as can be seen (to the extent internet image viewing allows) from your posted images.

Hand held photo with K30 and M100 F2.8 ISO1600. Noise reduction and some light adjustments afterwards in Zoner Photostudio.

I have had troubles getting manual focus right. After two months it's good to remember the existence of the diopter adjustment. Helps a lot
Build a quick test rack to put it right. Really like the bokeh of the M100:

Even thou bokeh of the M50 ain't far behind:

M 35mm f/2 on Fujifilm X-M1.

I was thumbing through my Paris photos from earlier in the year and saw this one.

That is a great doggy shot. Nice rendering with the M28/3.5, too. I have a huge number of film shots taken with that lens over a long number of years.

Thanks Albert. I have more than a few doggy shots taken with that lens . I'll need to fire up my old ME Super and try it out on film one of these days. Happy New Year!

All of mine were taken with my KX (definitely not digital!) and my SF-1. The KX replaced an original first model Pentax.
