I guess it's time to leave the sunny dolomites behind and return to Finnish winter. Even in my pictures. I wanted to go shoot today, but the light was, unfortunately, typically flat. So many cloudy days here with zero chance for rain, sunshine or even a little bit of blue sky from between the clouds. Tried to pull the colors up in post processing, but there really was not much to be found. Pictures with M28/3.5 as most of my shooting lately.

I find winter a discouraging time for my photography also. I watch for days when the sun breaks through and I can get some snow photos with alternating sun and shadow patterns.

Walking in the local metropark today with the K-5iis and M 100mm f2.8 mounted, spotted a hawk. Seems I never see hawks when I have the tele but I figured I'd give it a go, anyhow. Heavily cropped.

,looks like a coppers hawk. Nice shot regardless of focal length.
