Even just in your kitchen, you can find a subject. This isn't exactly a macro, but the vertical bars are actually the wires of a bird cage .... A canary isn't very big. Stuck my FA 100/2.8 macro through the cage door wile he was hanging from the bars. He will be 12 on July 1st, and his pinions no longer grow in properly, so he gets around the cage by climbing the bars. You can see the bad wing growth of his pinions on the left.
He still sings loudly enough to drown out the vacuum cleaner.
I would have used my M 100/4 macro, but it is now owned by iheiramo. It would have done just as well as the FA
