I see no reason for complaint with that rig.

Thanks, C_Rockies. The lens was a bargain find but its performance is another thing. I really like this little gem.

Nice shooting. It is a very nice lens that I don't use often enough! Taken a few years ago using an *ist D. Sunset light was filtering thru the trees in the b/g. These shots were taken a few days apart, but at the same time of day

As you demonstrate in your photo, Paul, the rendering of this lens is outstanding. It never ceases to amaze me and I'm a prime guy. I added extension tubes to my kit recently and it fun using them on this lens.

One from the day it snowed in Florence
Unusual image indeed. I lived in Firenze for a year and a half in my early 20's. No snow, but I do remember some pretty cold days in the middle of winter (especially walking home from the "Chiodo Fisso" musical tavern in the wee morning hours...).

I usually post on the monochrome threads, or the 28mm one, but hey, my M28 3.5 is an M lens - and from time to time I'll keep the colors in an image. So why not post those here?

I took this one for the play on words between the gaelic "péint úr" and the french "peinture":

And this one because happening upon a kebab in Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare, Ireland, was somewhat unexpected. No, we didn't eat there - seafood or pub grub when in Ireland, please. Besides, we pretty much know all about good kebabs in France (we pretty much know all about bad kebabs too).

That one has been closed a long time ago... it reopened in another place, then I lost track of it... became mostly a brand name...
It's not particularly cold in Florence, but it's always quite humid, so you feel it doubled...

My LBA is running wild. Just found & bought M35/2.8. What a rush. I've been waiting for it some time. Now all I need is M150 to reach my target. Not sure what happens after that.
