After harvest the fields are perfect playground. Shot with M85/2 and catch in focus. It worked perfectly in bright weather and I managed to shoot long bursts with perfect focus frame after frame with K5. Plenty to choose the best from.

Indoors/lowlight M 35/2.8 - it has sticky aperture that I cannot fully access to clean off (screws are stuck!), but still works nicely (bit soft) wide open.

I do like the characeter the lens adds to this scene

Get an apartment, Colombian food, Mexican food, Tamales (yes, still Mexican, but "different"), Spicy Tibetan, and gifts! All in an under-construction corner... This sums up the greatness of Queens, NY.

On a boat with family and friends today.

M85/2:

M35/2:

I have thought M85 quite poor in handling purple and green fringing, but it seems that it's just on the wider apertures. F8 and smaller there's no problem.

Looks like a promising start! Do you have any M's in your 'harem' yet?

No just a K... the "HM The Queen" (SMC Pentax 500mm F4.5).

I would only continue with M's if they didn't the focal length in A's, not sure about having to use this green button malarky all the time.

Just purchased today on a wee whim, as she looked like an inexpensive bit of fun.

Planned to use as a more discrete "Street" lens, but married it up with Takumar 35mm rectangular hood, which is nearly twice as long (deep) as the lens.

Had her oot and aboot with me today, no initial problems apart from a little tricky to use as she is so wee, but got the hang of her now with Hyperfocal Focusing.
