Looks like a promising start! Do you have any M's in your 'harem' yet?
The Shift is an M. I had one in the early 2000's when I lived in a big city.

The 28mm f/3.5 shift is a K, though it was made right through the time of the M, A, F and into FA epoch.

I recently shot a month with it in Single In Challenge. One of the keepers in my M series collection.

There's something unique in that lens. At least on APSC I like a FOV a lot. Great for general shooting. Combined with the small size it's great travel companion. Not the sharpest in M series, but I like the way it renders.

EDIT: I use collabsible rubber hood with M40 to take full advantage of its size.

I've always liked the kinda way older glass produces imagery.

Aye I forget about her (he says in a whisper)... so that's two K's in the Harem already.

A series from the performance of Orquesta Akokán at Momentum Toledo, last Friday night. All taken with a K-5iis + M 100/2.8 I don't usually shoot live performances and wasn't sure how the would come out. Had to push the iso up due to the lighting, lots of strobes and smoke to content with, as can be seen in the photos.

Aye she gets a wee helping hand from the old Kerrowdown, while she's still trying to prove herself.

Thanks. I was only shooting to do a comparison between two M 50 1.4s to see if one performed better than the other. It was a dead tie so the one I bought more recently is the one that's gone up for sale.
