impressive magnification, I think you have a small hair/dust on the lens though (bottom right of the image)

Yes I also noticed it on this shot. Already cleaned - luckily, the rocket blower was enough.

This week weather was sopposed to be bad, but today at lunch time... Just about as good as October can get. One day I get back to close-ups and macros, but today I continue stitch work. I also got good autumn colors, but I just had to go with one which has sea in it.

That's a nice Brenizer method photo. Everytime I see one, I say to myself that I should try that as well. I guess that's another new years resolution...

Thanks. Around 100mm seems to be quite good focal length for it. Set lens wide open and pay attention to amount of frames in each row. I use MS ICE to stitch the shots and downsample shots before the stitch. Makes stitching a lot faster and there is still more than enought pixel in final results.

No story behind the shot. Just wanted to do stack today and needed something to shoot.

M-28/2.8 @5.6. I must say I like the colors coming out from this lens.

Thanks for pointing me to MS ICE. That seems to make the process a lot easier. I'll move that resolution up to October. Hopefully the weather for tomorrow will allow for some shooting.

Welcome to the club. M50/1.7 is a great lens and has been the first M for many of us in here.

I've also got the M200 4, which I should use more than I do. Now that I'm here, I shall!

Macro in autumn feels like cheeting. We had a moment sun peaking between clouds in the afternoon. Just take the camera, go over the bushes near by and you have the shot for the day
