November Single In Challenge 2019 with K1ii & M50/2

4th

South coast November greyness.

K1ii M50/2 ISO100 f4 1/250:

Colorful leaves are gone now, so need to shoot something else this month. At least there are evergreens. This might be better shot than official, but I had already couple bokehshots in a row, so wanted some chance in style.

Good luck with the transition. I am a flower shooter, so facing the same problem now that we have experienced our first killing frost, but fallen leave are looking ratty and there is no snow yet. I may have to go into town and try some street photography or buttonhole some folks into modelling for portraiture.I refuse to start taking photos of everyday items around the house--no disrespect for those who do. :>)

SIC has tought me to shoot everyday items and I kind of like the challenge of turning them into nice shot. I'll survive thru the month

Thanks. The frost just keeps on growing thru the winter and in the end create pretty thick covering.

M135/3.5
Very nice!

M28/2.8
My favourite of the two.

Played with extension tube. I thought I had used B&W from these headphones more often in SIC, as they have been my regular practice target, but only twice before.

K1ii M50/2 ISO100 f4 0.3s 2/3" extension tube, on tripod:

M85/2 & M35/2 shots if someone is interested.

Some sun thru the clouds, so an attempt at landscape. I don't believe I've ever boosted colors as much as today. I don't think I take an other try at shooting against the sun with this lens.

I also had K3 with M50/4 with me today. First time out there with it. Didn't quite feel like my own yet

Why did it not feel like your own yet? As expected, the sharpness and contrast are on par with any Limited lenses - IMHO

The K3. Not the lens. I need to go thru some set ups and learn the buttons. Also I realized I hadn't adjusted the diopter magnification to fit my eye sight and had to set it on the fly, but need to make sure it's correct.

Great photos as always. I owned the M50/2 a few years ago, but I usually got nice saturated colors from it (during nice weather). I always used a hood, btw. From 2010 on *ist D:

Ah ok.

You certainly got good results from it But I'm sure ithe lens would look even better on your K-1.

I have a hood on it. I get good results when I underexpose a little and correct in post, but with the sun in the frame that wasn't an option. I had the same problem when I shot a month with K5 and M50/2. Could be something bothering just my copy.
