Snowboardcross was held today in cloudy conditions. I had plans to shoot some action, but there just was not enough visibility. While we waited finals to start the weather opened up for the moment. Too bad there was no action at the moment, as few riders on the course wouldn't hurt the shot, but I like it even at it is.

K1ii M85/2 ISO100 f8 1/1000:

This portrait also turned out pretty well:
It most certainly did turn out well.

Wide open. I've heard that this is the weakest Pentax 85, but still pretty good

Apparently so, though it's the only one I've tried. I have never read anything about any of the others having such drastic blue fringing wide open, so it's probably the weakest one just on that aspect.

From the cloudy boardercross day with M*300. Missed the rider a bit in this wide open shot, but like it anyway.

December Single In Challenge 2019 with K1ii & M85/2

18th

I've been waiting to take this shot. There's been so much other going that haven't have time, energy or need for it before. Plenty of traffic in this version, but I liked it best despite or because of it.

K1ii M85/2 ISO100 f11 8s on tripod:

I did take a safety shot during the day just in case. Or several safeties depending how you view it. 24 shot panorama in three rows taken from my hotel room balcony:

We visited Bormio today. The city where 2026 Milano olympics alpine skiing will be held. Just 13km from where we have been staying.

K1ii M85/2 ISO100 f2.8 or 4 1/60:

I had also a landscape in my mind, but I already have these mountain shots in this month album:

Thanks.

Here's another one from the same place, also with the M 135/3.5:

Here's a nightshot from some nights ago. It's not perfect because I had to use a bike for a tripod and there was a lot of wind, but I like the lights, the clouds and the few stars. Taken with the M50/1.4.

20th

Awfully long day for 170km transition from one village to other. 10 hours from the time we had to give up rooms to new hotel. We are now closer to main competition area of Deaflympics2019, but not in that village itself. Closing ceremony tomorrow, so that's why we are here. I don't really care fore ceremonies, so try to avoid if possible.

Today was just sitting, wishing and waiting. It was raining outside with clouds hanging low, so not much to shoot. So I present to you my baggages. The one on the foreground is not mine:
