I know it's a selfie day and I will deliver it later when I'm home again. Today I have something piu importante.

Yep, that's right. Hand made Italian skis. The very best. I happened to be in Chiavenna today where these are made and had a chance to visit their store and of course I had to use the opportunity and get me a pair. Now I don't have to be jealousy of my wife's skis anymore

One more to celebrate:

Can't wait to hit the slopes with these. Too bad it has to wait few days as we leave to Finland early tomorrow morning.

Thanks for posting Paul. I have not seen many in this club using zooms, which seems a shame since the M series was the first time that Pentax produced decent-quality lightweight zooms.

I have two, 40-80mm and 80-200mm, but the former has some fungus and some haze. I should get out and snap off a few shots with my 80-200mm, I am very happy with it, so I will post over the next couple of days.

Yesterday when we got home from Deaflympic there was a welcoming committee waiting for us on the airport with flowers and stuff. Never experienced such when I was coaching professionally, but back then we were misstreated by NOC and were left out of Salt Lake City Olympics despite having earned a spot and would have had starting place in top 16

Really appreciate the support that deaf community has given us. Here's a shot of my rose.

This post reminded me that at the back of my lens shelf is a Pentax-A 100mm/f2.8 (not the macro), unused for the last 12 months. I believe it is optically identical to the M but a bit less metal. I must get back to try it on the digital body. I will report to the Prime forum when I have used it.
