Iím also asking myself if there may have been quite some sample variation. I liked my M 2.8/100 a lot but my 2.8/28 (first version) was not so great (a lot of coma in the corners). I thought that Ismoís samples looked so much better than my M28 shots ever did.

This, the 28/2.8 1st version, is honestly my "best" lens. I always believe that I got an exceptional copy. I got some shots around here. Everytime I use it, it never fails.

I was not ready for the shot, I saw the Blue Jay and grabbed the camera and he just took flight. I decided to follow it regardless since you miss all the shots you do not take... Glad with the result

I've yet to capture a perching Blue Jay... the can smell the camera!
