Great shot! My favorite lens!!! Do you know if you have the 1st or 2nd version? (I have the first).

Thanks. I think the chances of being able to re-do it are minimal as the weather is terrible now and will likely remain so for a few days. The rain will knock all that lovely blossom off the tree.

Here's another, single shot this time, with the 85/2.

Too bad with the weather, but this is another lovely image.

Yesterday was the last nice and warm spring day for awhile. Motivated by my lack of participation here I took my M50/1.4 and went looking for forest flowers.

I found this to be more interesting and less obvious composition of the two. The apartment block on the background add one layer more to compostion and fills that top corner. Very good shot.
Many thanks.

Here's what I have been doing with my longest M-series: cross-posted from the astrothread, an image of Bode's galaxy and some of the surrouding galaxies. Taken at f/4.7 (half stop closed).

Some pics from last summer with the 50mm f/1.7, around Southern Ontario, but north of the GTA. Not sure if I shared these already but I can't find them in my post history, although some posts seem to have lost their images for some reason. Anyway...

Nice to see some of your “M”agic again. First shot of the purple flowers with the brown background is my favorite of the set.

I wish I knew how to do this. Astrophotography when well done, is amazing. This is well done.

Thank you, I'm only just beginning and using limited equipment, but it's a great rabbit hole to be going down. The astrophotography group has much more and nicer images, often taken with the pentax astrotracer. The image below was taken with the M50/1.4. Can't remember whether I've shared it here before.

Thanks. After winter there starts to be more to shoot again as spring advances.

I saved one more M50/1.4 shot from the set for today.

I like the light in this, but M50/1.4 tendency for bubbly bokeh doesn't help in these conditions. I think f1.7 would've been better glass for this.

M 80-200mm f/4.5. This seems like a decent lens though I haven't used it much.
