Fantastic colours, especially the blues. I love it when you can see the cold in a photograph.

After a long break I'm running M prime in Single In Challenge again. As a bonus feature I have something to post here also.

Those look great.
The second image almost looks like a scale model from a movie, I am eagerly waiting for desaster to strike

Ruka ski resort in Kuusamo Finland. A little south from arctic circle, so sun rises thru the year. I spend here a lot of time every winter.

That's great, I was looking at the images and enjoying them but the second one had a quality to it that I couldn't quite put to words, but that's it. It has that early star wars 'special effects' feeling to it. Brilliant. Thanks for sharing these, Ismo, and It's good to see some of your work again.

I love snowy landscapes like this but for me the first image is the better of the two due to the wonderful colours.

I totally agree. I think I got the colours just right in the first shot.

M40 again.

Not sure if it's the cold weather or just time, but focus feels stiff and I think occasionally shutter hasn't closed down for the shot. If the problem doesn't resolve itself, I might have to open the lens eventually.

That's a nice shot, but I'm nt sure why you'd want to open the lens to correct something with the shutter, or it that only related to the stiff focus. I've read that the grease on some of the older lenses will become less viscous/thicker over time at lower temperatures.

Well... For sure I'm not gonna use this lens, if it keeps acting like this. Today had to take 8 shots before I finally got one that actually stopped down as I wanted.

Aha, so its the diaphragm that doesn't close. That makes sense to want to open the lens. Good luck with that. From what I've seen, that's a tricky part in a lens.
