M 50mm f2

The M50mm f2, because it is not one of the faster 50mm and comes cheap, may be get overlooked, but it is a very capable little lens:

the cheap price + being K mount makes it IMO an ideal 'starter' MF lens!

cheers,
kuuan - andreas

M50mm 1.7........ my first pentax lens. A classic and still great performer.

Lovely shots you posted.

Been a while since I've contributed to the club. M85/2, shot at f/2.8 on a sunny day. Here's a worm that didn't make across the sidewalk on a hot day. Looks like it was trying so hard

Got my M*300 up on fleabay. Even though it is a great lens, it has to make way for the Sigma 100-300

This little fellow stood still and sang a song for me. Then I shot him with the M 400/5.6.

M 100/f2.8

I was poking around the garden with my focusing rail. The Waterton Mock Oranges are in bloom.

Very nice Pat.

I had the M 100/2.8 and sold it when I got the A 100/2.8 macro. It was the only lens I ever sold and it was a big mistake.

Thanks. I was looking for a macro, but it seemed like everyone else was, too. Thus, I went the extension tube route. I got some cheapo plastic ones for the K mount and some nicer metal ones for M42 mount. So far, it's all trial and error with the tubes and focusing rail and DOF. It's fun practicing, though!

Here's a shot of an avalanche on Mt Lefroy. M100/16. 1/250s

Very nice

The M28mm 2.8 is a great performer. I have all four of the M28mm lenses, and to be honest cannot tell them apart.
