It looks a lot like "tilt" which means there may be an unseated group in you lens changing the way the light is hitting the focal plane.

Anyone know what would cause this?

Just to show how sharp the m 85mm is I give you massive crops from the K200d (10mp)......

Here you can clearly see my blinds and window....
^wideopen or F/2.8

No sharpening done, just some minor medieval PF removal...

I believe I am the guy in the white shirt.... Idk I took that shot a while ago
^wideopen

AND one more of the above girl that I posted a while ago in this thread:

Here you can clearly make out several people...

Wideopen^

Those lenses are worth $85 - $135 depending on condition. Might be worth sending to Eric for an evaluation.

(BTW, what do you mean by "doing the Japanese thing"? That pose? Interesting...)
Thanks for the nice comment. The Japanese often give the peace sign when posing for a pic and my daughter has seen this so every time I point my camera at her she mimics them!

Very nice. I love the colors in your portraits. May I ask what you do in PP?
It looks like a mix of two effects: bleech and pastel/ink.

Kind regards

And you got a good deal there. Less than I paid for mine, looks to be in about the same condition. You seem to be a very astute glass shopper, DWB!
