Well, I just own two auto focus lenses...rest are all manual including some nikons from old days. I have few M lenses and enjoy using them all. This one I shot yesterday early morning(not early enough, missed the magic moment) with M 28mm f3.5 lens. Its about 345º panorama...19 vertical shots, stiched in CS3.... ISO 200...f16...1/2 second exposer.

M 28mm F/3.5 reversed on extension tubes.

Just a test for a new diffuser modification.

Glad I found this thread. Some amazing photos and great inspiration to put my "new" Ms onto my K-x and give them a walkabout. Used to use an SLR 25+ years ago with a 50mm as my main lens. With P&S got addicted to zooms but there is something about a Prime that makes you work more for the picture that is attractive in an odd way.

Amazing shot - did you use a macro rail for this one? I imagine it's very tricky to nail focus like this with a reversed lens.

Its a block of metal molded into a fine piece of imaging equipment, not some plastic "maybe fantastic"

I felt bad even trying to compare the M 135mm vs. the F 135mm
(not saying its bad.... its just not up to par with the F/FA)
+1 for the FA-135-2.8-is-awesome sentiment. It's superb.

Wow, you must have really steady hands. That's a great shot. Makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. I love the reflections in the eyes.

Yeatz, my little guy saw this and moved away from the screen saying "I don't like that alien." Well done, love it!

Why do people need to post huge sharp photos of spiders... why? I had both the desire to close the page and stare at its eyes. Cracking shot.

I will be posting my own M series photos soon. Just waiting for one i like enough.

Nice shot of the 400 Bill.
