Evening in Llano Texas

M 28 2.8 (first version)

While camping near Llano Texas, the evening light became cooperative and made taking some photographs a lot of fun. People tell me that folks around Llano live to be older than average.
They say it has to do with radiation from the stone they quarry around there.

Thanks Paul. I believe you are from Texas? Well, these shots are all from Llano Texas. While I was camping there about a year and a half ago, the evening light happened to be quite suitable for taking photographs.

Hey Club me would like to join.

I'm shooting with the K-r (my first Reflex Cam actually!) Better late than never.
I have bought four M Lenses and one K Lens since counterpart a DA 35/2.4, maybe I got the wrong Pentax for the old glasses

Here are some shots with two of them.

By the way I read the whole Thread the last couple of Days and I did enjoy all your Photos and Discussions a lot! Learned a lot about the M's. Unfortunately many Pictures are lost.

An hour ago someone beats me about a M 85/2 so I have to take the next chance!

I watched the whole K-Club Thread too

At the moment I'm thinking about a K10D with Split Screen as a better Camera for the manual Lenses because of the better VF and keep my K-r for the AF's, not sure. Would be good to see the difference in real life first, maybe I can meet a follow Penataxian in the near future who has the K10D.

So, hello to all again! I enjoy the Forum a lot, best Pentax Forum on the Net!

Mike, great shot, if you take away that trash can, this would be a timeless image... Rick

BTW - was there some sort of Shoot Out at the Moore State Bank building
